He has long been expected to make the step up to one of the truly elite clubs of European football, with a transfer saga last summer only coming to an end when he announced his intention to stay in Madrid in the La Decision TV special.There was allegedly another film planned for this summer, but Atleti forced Griezmann to admit he wants to leave when they got wind of the video ahead of time.So, now Griezmann’s impending departure has been confirmed, he is expected to leave for Camp Nou over the coming weeks.It’s fair to say the Catalan press are not entirely behind the decision to sign Griezmann, however.
