City will retain their crown with victory at Brighton, while Liverpool must get a result against Wolves and hope for the best. But even if the Reds finish second, they will still get more Premier League money than their rivals. That’s according to sportingintelligence.com, which forecasts that Liverpool will receive 149.5million compared to City’s 148.1million. A significant portion of that comes from TV game fees – and Jurgen Klopp’s men have featured on the box more than any other team in the league. They have had 29 games on TV compared to City’s 26, generating 3.4million more than the league leaders.

For the 2018/19 season, this share is valued at 79.4million per team.
